The album sees NIKI where she shines, returning to her indie-folk-leaning, singer-songwriter roots. In this carefully crafted coming-of-age story, present-day NIKI recounts a past love and revisits the emotions of her teenage self. Throughout the songs on this project, NIKI uses her innate and detailed storytelling abilities to expertly explore themes of love, heartbreak, and every emotion in between. NIKI embarked on a headline tour around this album, 'NIKI: The Nicole Tour,' which was sold-out across the country. In October 2022, the tour reached its final stop at the Wiltern in NIKI’s current home of Los Angeles, CA, and was met with roaring excitement from NIKI’s most die-hard fans.To commemorate this remarkable event in NIKI’s career, recordings were captured of the performance, to be released as a content piece entitled ‘NIKI: Live at the Wiltern.'
