You wouldn´t know it from the cover (which makes it look like a country and western outing) that this is the most cooking, progressive jazz album you´re likely to encounter in some time. It´s a trumpet album with most of the tunes penned by Ron Miles. It´s a drum album with the soulful groove of Baker, but mostly it´s a tight ensemble album where everyone is really listening and totally in synch.
