I NEVER tire of listening to any of Fernando´s CDs. I am truly amazed at the depth and insight of his songs. God is truly working in this talented musician. I am not an easy person to please when it comes to Christian music because of the shallowness/showiness that has flooded the Christian music market and its accomodation to secular standards. Fernando (like Michael Card) has not forgotten the love and passion he has for God. I used to think hymns were somewhat boring, although I´ve always loved the depth of the lyrics. Fernando´s rendition of the classic hymns however has presented them in a contemporary manner without compromising the integrity and impact of their message. His smooth voice and beautiful piano arrangements have given me a renewed appreciation for them.
