By the mid 1970s, most new albums in Jamaica were accompanied by a dub companion, but　o－bviously this was not the case in the U.K. However, relations were so strained between　Winston Ro－dneyand Mango, over the remixed version of Marcus Garveythey'd released intern－ationally, that the artist had launched his own label Spear to prevent this ever happening again. Thus Mango decided to mix up a dub album, Garvey's Ghost, in an attempt to mollify.
