This is the best debut album I have heard in quite some time! I am an aspiring singer and this is the kind of album I would love to make; country with a good dose of blusey tears thrown in! I often sing "Planet OF Love," and I almost always get a great reaction (which I love). However, this also gives me a chance to (no pun intended) sing the praises of Mandy Barnett! Every song on this album is awesome, from the uptempo "Now That´s Alright With Me," to the haunting "Wayfaring Stranger." If you love country, blues, heck, if you just enjoy FEELING the music, then this album is a must have. The only thing I can´t believe is why isn´t Mandy Barnett enjoying the same level of popularity as Lean Rimes, Dixie Chicks, et al. (Not to take anything away from the other artists, but let´s get serious!)
