简介: It has been a real discovery for me from the first moment that I've listened to " la barberia" .It was by the end of spring of 1998 and I already have all the records they made. This last one is the very best example of production perfectionism and economycism. Every detail is there to serve each song - listen to wonderfull version of "Alegria de vivir" from the late Ray Heredia (d.1991). The musiciens use all their talent in a way that the minimum musical notes produce the maximum effect in the music they recorded. And than, there is the voice of that man - ¨Enrique Heredia "El Negri"- better and better all the timea as well as his poetry skills that reached their peak in this release. And also the guitar of "El Paquete", each time more independent of styles and, even so, keeping all that flamenco feeling in his fingers. A pleasure to my senses, this "Arte Pop". Can't wait for the next. But let them take their time. It's the way "La Barberia" does it. The southern way. Bless you barberos.
