Although the titles are all familiar (most of them a little too much so), Cotton and his all-star cohorts (guitaristsJimmie Vaughan,Matt Murphy,Luther Tucker,Hubert Sumlin, andWayne Bennett, the omnipresentPerkinson keys) pull the whole thing off beautifully. Cotton's cover ofWolf's"Moanin' at Midnight" is remarkably eerie in its own right, and he romps through Muddy Waters'"Blow Wind Blow" and "Sugar Sweet" with joyous alacrity.
