“Shutdown” is the brand new single by English grime artist, rapper, songwriter and producer Skepta, from Tottenham, London. He’s currently preparing the release of his fourth studio album “Konnichiwa” due to release this spring/summer via Boy Better Know, AATW and Universal. 　　Having previously released tracks “That’s Not Me” with fellow British rapper JME on 8 June 2014 and “It Ain’t Safe” with A$AP Mob member, A$AP Bari on 2 November 2014, the third single from the new era, “Shutdown” is a solo effort, it premiered in full via SoundCloud on 1 March 2015. 　　“Shutdown” is set to release onto digital retailers on 26 April 2015 via Boy Better Know. 　　Skepta was recently thanked by Kanye West live on the Brit Awards 2015 and Drake borrowed a line for his track “Used 2” on his new mixtape “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late“. Skepta pays Drake back by featuring a sample at the end of the track, taken from his recently released short film called “Jungle”. It’s produced by Skepta himself with the help of Ragz Originale. 　　Maybe we’ll see a collaboration between the pair on the album!
