简介: 洛可可:哈塞歌剧咏叹调
Max Cencic has impressed me both as one of the outstanding counter-tenors of his generation and also as an extraordinary entrepreneur with his company Parnassus Arts Productions, which records and tours some of the most exciting productions in Baroque opera today . --Paul Moseley Managing Director Decca Classics
I am deeply honoured to be collaborating with the outstanding Decca Classics label, renowned worldwide for its emphasis on the art of the voice. Names such as Pavarotti and Sutherland, Bartoli and Fleming are legends of classical music, and it will be a huge challenge for me as an artist to live up to this high standard of quality. --Max Emanuel Cencic
Launching his new recording contract with Decca Classics, critically-acclaimed countertenor Max Emanuel Cencic performs arias from the finest of Hasse s dramatic works.
From the exquisite delicacy of the aria di sostenuto to the fiery passion of the aria di bravura, Cencic s sensational performance brings Hasse s greatest works to a new audience, brilliantly fresh and with maximum effect.
Rokoko follows on from Cencic s incredibly well received Alessandro on Decca Classics. Critics from the world s leading press recognized the album s outstanding qualities: Gramophone described it as an essential purchase ; Opera News observed that Cencic commands the music totally , while Diapason awarded it Diapason de l or de l année and it also won recognition in the International Opera Awards in London.
Johann Adolf Hasse (1699 1783), known during his life as the father of music (il padre della musica) enjoyed fame throughout Europe in a career spanning six decades. One of the most well-known and prolific composers of the opera seria, around 70 of his dramatic works survive today.
For this new recording Cencic is accompanied by the superb Armonia Atenea under their internationally-renowned conductor, George Petrou
This programme of some of Hasse s finest dramatic works shines a spotlight on some remarkable music and the vocal and dramatic abilities of the performers; none more perfect for this repertoire than Cencic, Armonia Atenea and Petrou.
