Congo Square is an album by Teena Marie. It's set to be released the album on June 9, 2009. The album features the following collaboraters; Marie's daughter Alia Rose who now goes by the name Rose LeBeau (Milk n' Honey), and rapper MC Lyte (The Pressure), as well as Faith Evans, who makes her first appearance on a Teena Marie album on the lead single "Can't Last a Day". The title track features jazz pianist George Duke, who recently collaborated with R&B diva Jill Scott on her gold certified release The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3. Shirley Murdock, a favorite on R&B radio in the mid- 80s and early 90s, lends vocals for the track "Soldier". Each track is written and produced by Teena Marie.
