Robert Elhai 's dark, sleek arrangements do an excellent job of fleshing out the idiosyncrasies in Tyler's approach. Each instrument seems at war with the others, shrieking and bleating at maximum volume for supremacy in the mix. Moreover, each theme seems faster and more aggressive than the last. Darkness Falls operates on pure, uncut adrenaline, and even sans cinematic visuals, it's a fearsome thing indeed.
