As the second installment of music from the popular syndicated fantasy series, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Vol. 2 simply offers more of the same -- rousing themes and incidental music written by Joseph LoDuca for use in the series. For fans of Hercules, this collection is essential, yet listeners who aren't acquainted with the series will find the melodramatic quality of the music a little ludicrous.
