Z.Z. Hill's second album for Kent, Dues Paid in Full, collects a number of singles that he recorded for the label between 1964 and 1965. Hill pretty much played in a straight Texas style during these days, turning out a series of stinging high-octane singles during those two years. Granted, there wasn't much in the way of originality, but there were strong signs of individuality, which makes Dues Paid in Full worth investigation for both Hill fans and anyone with a fondness for electric Texas blues.
