Vault Vol. 1 is the first installment in a planned three volume set. All of the songs featured on these collections are rare, previously unreleased recordings that up until now have never been heard by anyone except STRFKR.  　　 　　Rescued from primary songwriter Josh Hodges’ dying computer, some of these songs were written for STRFKR albums, some were written before (as early as 2007) or in-between, but they all played a role and influenced what has been released under that name.  　　 　　Offering an unprecedented look into Hodges’ creative process and STRFKR’s musical evolution, the Vault series promises to be a must-have release for fans of the band and anyone curious enough to peek behind the curtain to see what is revealed.
