English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran continues to promote his acclaimed second studio album “x” (pronounced “multiply“), released on digital retailers on June 20, 2014 via Asylum and Atlantic Records. 　　The next and fourth official single taken from the album is the song “Bloodstream“. Written by Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol and English drum&bass band Rudimental. 　　The official single edit of the song is a re-worked version with Rudimental. It’s also confirmed that this new version will be the first single from Rudimental's forthcoming album. Sheeran said: 　　I’ve done a song with Rudimental that is actually a song on my album. We've just re-done it and it’s heavy, it's going to be great. They've re-done it, it's going to be sort of their first single off their new record…It’s really good. 　　The song is about Sheeran taking MDMA during a wedding celebration in Ibiza. He claims that during the experience he “fell in love with a beanbag” and that “felt anxiety, felt love, felt warm, felt a bit weird“. 　　“Bloodstream” arrives after the promotion of his latest single “Thinking Out Lout“, and it was released on iTunes (UK) on 29 March 2015. 　　Besides, Sheeran recently released a new track called “Make It Rain“, main theme of the seventh season of American TV series “Sons of Anarchy“, aired on FX. 　　The singles includes official B-Side called “I Will Take You Home“, premiered on Cougar Town in January. The music video directed by Emil Nava was premiered on Monday 23 March to support 2015 Youtube Music Awards. 　　Rudimental and Sheeran debuted an official tour music video to promote the song on 29 March 2015, the same day of its release on digital retailers.
