沉寂了3年，香料如重获新生一般再次开始自己的创作。这张命名为《无限电阻》的专辑，是乐队成军以来的第一张正式专辑。后网络信息时代，不乏盲目去接受外界信息而肆意扩散的人，但有一类人如同绝缘体一般单孑独立，正因为他们的这种自持让世界变得丰富而可爱。这群人是这个信息流时代的“无限电阻”。 　　乐队主脑陈陈陈在即将完成自己哲学博士学业的时候，通过音乐来闪回这些年创作思考的点滴历程。除了运用更多的音效层叠，旋律编写上亦是比之前的作品容易被记住。而新专辑给人最直观的印象就是增加了很多人声演唱的部分，其中有一半的歌曲由贝斯手Eli担任主唱，香料正式蜕变为双主唱迷幻电子团体。 　　整张专辑特邀三位混音师合作。具有国际视野的新生代电子制作人3ASiC、来自香港身兼嘻哈歌手与制作人的Dough-Boy、以及北京横跨独立与流行的鬼才混音师李越。正是因为这样大的差别，三人为香料整张8首歌曲带来了完全不一样的听觉体验。新作中，《电影女孩》是香料为数不多慢歌，写给逃避现实并沉迷于光影奇观的一类人，希望他们对现实生活的平凡多些担待。《休闲画报》急促的鼓点，无厘头的歌词，是现代都市生活表面浮华实则空虚的真实写照。《同步率》讲述了一个发歌給心仪的人听，自己也会掐着时间点开这首歌同步收听的浪漫又日常故事。而《白细胞》、《深海奇珍》、《To Do List》这样延续香料一贯电子舞曲风格的歌曲，绵长有力的低音嗡鸣下，结合具有想象空间的鼓点，丰富的电子声效，同时不忘加上标签性的怪异桥段，让人一瞬间进入香料的世界。 　　After three years of silence, Spice returns with a new original album that rings with the fresh, unfamiliar sounds of a new direction. Möbius Omega is Spice’s first official album following a series of EPs and single releases. 　　“During the era of social media, many people blindly accept outside information and word of mouth, but there is a class of people that motivate themselves and form their own ideas that help the world to become stronger and richer. These people are the ‘Möbius Omega’... the infinite resistance of this age”. 　　As he was completing his PhD studies, Chen Chen Chen was also contemplating past work and honing his creative process. It was this self-reflection along with the challenges and lessons of furthering his education that led to the inspiration for this new album. 　　For this album Spice creates a wider sonic stage, layering effects and harmonies while the melodies stand out as more catchy than in previous works. 　　The biggest feature of this album is the abundance of vocal performances. In contrast to previous releases, there are no purely instrumental songs on this record. 　　The most noticeable difference existing fans of the band will find is the addition of a new voice. Eli (bass) is featured as a lead voice for the first time, officially transforming Spice into a dual fronted psychedelic-electronic group. 　　The mixing of this new sonic endeavor called for a special set of skills and perspectives for it to reach fruition. New generation electronic producer 3ASiC, hip-hop singer/producer Dough-Boy from Hong Kong, and popular independent remix artist/engineer Li Yue from Beijing all lent their talents in Möbius Omega’s production. Their independent mixing of selected songs from the album makes each song a completely different aural experience. 　　"Movie Girl" and “Synchronization” are two of Spice’s ballads. While the former tells the story of someone who tries to escape reality by indulging in the wonders they wish for in life, “Synchronization” is a love story that touches the heart of the romantic. 　　The fast pace of "Leisure Illustrated" along with nonsensical lyrics, and bustling sonic backdrop serve as a surface portrayal of the realities of modern urban life. 　　"White Blood Cell," "The Deep," and "To Do List," are a fresh take on Spice’s irresistibly dance inducing electronic tracks. They each feature powerful bass lines, solid drum grooves, lush electronic soundscapes, and that signature dash of strange that open the portal to the world of Spice, inviting listeners to dive through ears first.
