Manchester’s finest young DJ Finn releases 'Sometimes The Going Gets A Little Tough' - his longest and most complete release yet, a collection of six house jams for trying times. Since his 2014 debut 'Keep Calling’, Finn has crafted his own breathless take on house music, taking chunks from speed garage, grime and hardcore in the UK to regional club music & ghetto-house in the USA. His third release of 2017 (following ‘Late At Night’/‘Lightwork’ and this summer’s Accelerated Club mixtape) is the best realisation of his sound to date, a series of peaks and troughs from full throttle vocal house and chipmunk club cuts on the EP’s title track and ‘Who This Is (It’s P)’ to the more pensive ‘Trying Your Best’ and ‘So Confused’.
