简介: David William Miller was born April 15, 1983. His musical gift began surfacing at an extremely early age. He was actually singing for family and friends at the tender age of two. He frequently accompanied his mother to her many rehearsals and engagements as a soloist, and member of numerous choirs and groups in the city. David's talents were featured in the production of a musical drama written by Reginald Sampson entitled "El-Shaddai." In this production, David was cast in the role of the young Jesus. Because church has always been an integral part of his life, David has had the opportunity to be a featured soloist at numerous churches in the metropolitan Detroit area. Including his debut concert for his new LP, "Standing On The Promises", "there wasn't a dry eye in the church." David's gift has blossomed over the last few years. He birthed, and is the leader of "Radical Praise," the youth praise team of Spirit & Truth Christian Ministries where his parents, Bishop James & Pastor Kelli Williams are pastors. His involvement with the Gospel Chorus of St. Martin DePorres High School in Detroit propelled him into a more serious pursuit of his musical interest. Under the direction of Ms. Claretha Elder and musician, Mr. Kevin Williams, the choir recorded a studio project. David was an integral part of the project. He was a lead vocalist as well as being one of the singers chosen to record voice-overs for editing work being done on the project. Graduating from St. Martin DePorres High School in 2001, David has gone on to pursue his education at Grand Valley State University where he is now a junior. There too, David has become a part of the Gospel Choir and is now president. Again, his talents have made room for him as a principal vocal artist. Additionally, David accompanies that choir as primary drummer. And while he is away, he is under the watch care of Pastor Marvin Sapp and Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, where he ministers on the praise & worship team. Minister David Miller accepted his calling to the ministry in 2002, and with the release of his new CD he hopes to use his musical abilities to communicate the word of God, and that, it will help lead young people to the heart of Christ. He is determined that his talents will be used not just for mere entertainment, but to invoke the presence of God. David's desire is to, uplift, encourage and inspire through song.
