GROK improvise songs based on a mental theme or image. When performing live these are suggested by members of the audience and a musical key is determined by the Wheel of Chordal Destiny. For ‘Create a diversion’, GROK asked artists to submit visual works to them as the starting points for improvised recordings. 　　 　　In Summer 2011 an open invitation was made to artists to produce a visual response to these songs. The original artworks, songs and responses will be presented at an exhibition at The Rag Factory in the East End of London on 8th and 9th October 2011.
