简介: I was born and raised most of my life here in southern Ohio
and from the young age of 12 I began writing songs.
At the age of 14 my mother bought me my first guitar and I
learned to play it soon after. It was a D-28 Martin and I
fell in love with it right away. Learning to play it was not
all I thought it was going to be. The hurting and cutting of
my finger tips was enough to make me almost give up learning
to play it, but an old friend told me one night as were playing
the guitar on my front porch(2 am in the morning) that a quitter
never wins and a winner never quits. To me he was Donald Lytle
who had a record out at that time as Donnie Young and later changed
his name to Johnny PayCheck. I believe that if it was'nt for him
and John L. Lewis that at that time,I may have given up playing.
Growing up back then ..we had no inside plumbing and got our water
from an old hand pump on the backporch,.our intertainment was from an
old radio as we had no tv back then.
Listening to the country singers was my great times .
Thanks to all you country music lovers, ,I hope to get my songs
out to the public. Without you, artists like myself would get nowhere.
I was featured in Country Roads Magazine July-December 2004 Issue.

This CD clearly reflects a talented country singer-songwriter who has
the ability to combine lyrics and music together in order to bring together
a collection of beautiful traditional country songs. Daddy's Last Letter is
only a sample of what you will find in this great collection. What you want
from a song you will find here, as there is no middle ground for Blue Star
brings you only the best in real traditional country music...His voice is
reminiscent ,but not a repeat of the old country singers who made country
music what it is today.
