简介: Mary Fran Cahill For Mary Fran, Over Easy is a reprise of a music vocation that helped pay college tuition a half century ago. A fork in life’s path led her instead to a career as a journalist/photojournalist. Through marriage, in addition to her husband, her family includes four children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren -- with No. 3 on the way. The Dan Dance Trio + 1 Classically trained jazz pianist Dan Dance has been a staple on the Greater Milwaukee music scene for more than 30 years, including a 20-year stint as resident pianist at Chip & Py’s in Mequon. His eclectic influences range from Bach to Bartok and Gershwin to Gillespie. Dave Bayles is one of the finest percussionists in the Midwest. He has worked with many noted jazz artists including Slide Hampton, David Hazeltine, Brian Lynch, Frank Morgan and James Moody. Jeff Hamman’s professional collaborations include Dance, Hazeltine, Hampton, Morgan, Steve Allen and Charles McPherson. He has toured the US as well as Japan, India and France. Jeff is the bassist for Michael Feldman’s Public Radio International show, Whad You Know. Fourth-generation musician Jason Goldsmith dabbled in many instruments before focusing on the sax. Mentored by Steve Wiest, he has played alongside artists such as Moody, Rick Margitza and Bob Mintzer. Of his more than 20 recordings, perhaps the most unusual my be the 78 of cornetist and Bix Biderbecke afficianado Andy Schrumm.
