"Crutches" is an original and organic take on the EDM genre by American composer and songwriter Scott Hunt under his moniker Hunter. The album consists of 8 tracks and runs approx. 33 minutes. The project is visionary with its catchy tunes and lyrical ideology. "Crutches" weaves an impressively utilized pallet of sounds that incorporates vocals, harmonies, bass guitar, synthesizers, orchestral instruments, sound effects and more. The songs are produced, arranged, performed and written by Scott Hunt with a few exceptions. 　　The album features artwork and design from artist Felicia Wolfe, additional writings and arrangements from Shelby Hunt-Sauer, Alberta Hunt, James Goodman, and Harold Welch, extra drums and percussion are provided by Jon Kynard, and some other instruments and effects by Dark Ocean Colors (Hunt's psychedelic, pop-rock band) can be found throughout the album. Jake Perrine (audio engineer, composer, voice actor) lends his expertise in mastering the album.
