Migiwa (known as "miggy") plays her part as a pianist, composer, and arranger. Established in March, 1999, the band was named "miggy+"(i.e. miggy augment), deriving from the fact that the band members augment the energy of miggy's composition numbers. The members of the band consist of various occupations...musician, system engineer, translator, editor,consultant, architect, and more. The colorful sounds of the band born from the various backgrounds has a crispy freshness that cannot be found anywhere else. 　　 　　 　　*Miggy’s Biography* 　　 　　Name: Migiwa Miyajima (a.k.a. miggy) 　　When she was 3 years old, she started to play classic piano numbers. By the age of 6, she started composing her own tunes. By 15, she had won the Grand Championship at Songwriting Division of "Obunsha /SONY All Japan Tape Grand Prix". Started playing Jazz Piano in her undergraduate days, with the strong recommendation of her best friend. Aside from miggy+ works, she performs as a member of a piano trio called, "Vivid miggy 3", as well as a female acoustic group called "Lynn", and more. Her performance is used as a BGM at an online-newspaper blog called "Hobo Nikkan Itoi Newspaper". Provided arrangement for "Yasukagawa Daiki F.E.J.E. Jazz Orchestra" and contributed compositions for Ms.Tomoko Hisamot (Entertainer and vocalist).
