简介: "Mirror Music" is the next evolutionary step in my journey as a growth seeking being. I use music as a vehicle to express a message that is unique for each listener but universal in nature. I truly hope that the words used in conjunction with the music inspires thought, change, growth and most of all self examination. It is my deepest desire to make an impact on you the listener to become the best version of yourself for the benefit of the world around you. I ask that you listen responsibly, and thereafter act accountably.
Acknowledgements:
First and foremost I'd like to thank my phenomenal wife. She's endured many a night without me as I've worked to complete this vision. Her patience and understanding have been nothing short of inspirational. You've been the voice of reason in seemingly chaotic times and for that I thank you my love!
Thank you to my mother Robin Hurd-Graham and my Father John G. Graham Sr. for their unwavering support and guidance throughout my life but especially during the time of this project. Your wisdom and love are irreplaceable and I'm forever appreciative for having parents like you.
I have been fortunate enough to cross the paths of some of the most amazingly talented producers on the face of the planet and for that I offer extreme gratitude. I'd like to thank Kuddie Fresh for showing support to an unknown artist with a message. He's a rare species in an ego driven industry and I'm most appreciative of him recognizing the importance of what I'm aiming to do.
I'd like to thank Corey "StepChild" Smith who provided the first brick in the house that is "Mirror Music". I'm forever thankful to Ali for helping our paths connect man.
I want to thank Configa for reaching out and connecting all the way from London. He's not only a phenomenal producer but he's a brilliant mind and great person to build with.
A warm shout goes to the young talent and beautiful spirit that is Shawn Kyle. He is the future of music and I'm fortunate to have had an opportunity to work with him professionally and to know him personally in the infant stages of his musical journey.
A huge thank you goes to David "Drumcrazie" Curby for extending his talents to the project. He's an amazing producer that creates with a passion that is evident in every song. I'm grateful to have the pleasure of working with you.
Last and furthest from least I'd like to thank Amir Swain. He's not only a phenom producer, he's an untouchable engineer. We've weathered the storm of deadlines and communication and as a result we've constructed a solid piece of music that I believe will stand the test of time. Without your talents the world would not have heard me clearly. Thank you.
A special thank you goes to my good friend and brother Andre Rodriguez. Without you bro, this really could not have been possible. Your friendship and unforgiving honesty has been integral to my successes and I appreciate you for being you throughout it all. Love goes to all of my Camorra family who have helped me to become the me that I am today. Can I get "C"?
A huge thank to Loi "Buffy" Laing for making a connection to the music that I make, but more importantly for being a beautiful that I call a friend. Much love to you and the "Water Bearer."
A major thank you goes to Gary Chlapaty of Joeggernaut Design (Brilliantjojo@gmail.com) for producing such an amazing visual to capture the concept I had in my mind. The Album artwork speaks volumes my friend.
I'd like to thank "Q" from The Mad Blogger.com for being one of the first to believe in the music I've recorded enough to share it with the hip-hop community at large. Thank you for listening honestly and intently and most of all thank you for your artistic contributions to "John Graham Presents: The Reflection Series".
I'd like to thank Alex at The Good Life Reviews for giving my work a ton of energy. His features and write-ups on the music have helped to introduce "Ego Free" hip-hop to a vast audience and for that I'm ever grateful.
Thank you to DJ Wayneski and Jessica at iHeartdilla.com for recognizing the power hip-hop in its purest forms and remaining faithful to the art that has inspired the world creatively. Most of all, thank you for playing my songs on the Independents Day Shows and for cutting Kanye West short to play my song "Extra-Terrestrial Thoughts." That was unreal!
A thank you to Bobby, Skylyn, DJ Nisa, and DSL Radio for their unwavering support of the music and for giving me a platform to share a message with the world.
A special thank you goes to another friend along the journey, Ali Myers at AliMyers.net for helping to spread the messages in my music to his network. Thank you for all the Youtube video endorsements and the attentive ear when I needed to vent my friend!
If I've left anyone out please know that it was unintentional and I thank you for your contributions, support, and energy! If I never record another song after this album, I can feel confident that I've touched lives through my talents, gifts, and abilities, and that to me is the true measure of success.
Love & Light to all,
John
