简介: I have been listening to and playing music for as long as I can remember.
Although I have always had fragments of songs, I produced my first finished piece in 2007 (Don't get caught) and have been trying to make up for lost time ever since.
This is my first collection of songs. The second is in the pipeline!
A few words on the 9 tracks you will hear:
Don't Get Caughy: Early rock and roll story of an habituel ne’er do well!
Better of me: Strong Power Ballad which has attracted the interest of many a published artist
Writing pop songs: Epic Spingsteenesque part-autobiographical reflection on the need to create
2480 days: Synth driven story of a life put on hold
Buybuybuy: Catchy soul based tune, a response to the never ending stream of advertising thrusting new, improved, can’t-live-without products on us.
Working Man: Work and why we do it. A hard hitting and thought provoking small ‘p’ political song with a strong power pop influence
(I don't wanna) Lose your love: Stomping soul tune with my daughter helping out on backing vocals
Journey's end: Minor blues with an intriguing story that each listener will have to resolve!
The Right One: Going for that ‘white reggae’ 10cc vibe on this one. As ever, the story has a sting in the tail.
I also play in an active covers band.
