By Nfree - See all my reviews 　　This review is from: Jazzbury Park (Audio CD) 　　Mr. Wheeler has created a well balanced jazz CD with selections ranging from funk, techno influences to cool and breezy tunes. The CD made me feel like I was sitting on a deck on a crisp fall Sunday morning, with coffee and the mellow tunes in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire CD, but my two favorites are the first track 'Ahmad' which has a late 70's funk feel, mixed with British underground club music. A very close second for me is the wistful 'Love 4 Lonnie.' There is something quietly majestic about it, like attending the biggest outdoor jazz fest in the world. If you love classic jazz with a nice modern twist, you'll love this CD. I look forward to future works by this talented artist.
