简介: NOTE MEDITATIVE means in Italian !meditative notes" and IL PROFETA means " The Prophet" . It is the title of a mystical poem of Kahlil Gibran (originally Gibran Khalil Gibran), poet, writer, painter, mystic and philosopher from Lebanon. The author of the album has created a poetical-musical program which containes some fragments of the Gibran's poem and Lucyan's compositions, inspired by the Oriental music. The music from this program and some other pieces have been recorded in 1993 and here there is the effect of this work. Whoever has read the poem, perhaps will find again atmospheres of these verses. But this music, of course, can be understood and enjoyed also by listeners who did not have any contact with profound, wise poem of Gibran. It is enough to listen to these melodies and harmonies - once meditative, once cheerful... You can hear the echo of the Oriental inspirations which helped the composer to create these compositions. The musical scales, rhythms and even the way in which have been played the instruments evoke the images of those distant lands... We can hear sitar, ethnic flutes, Oriental lutes, xylophone and many other instruments , also those European , but played in a different way. A journey in the Middle and Far East... Also that one - inside of us...
