Dan Holman is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Dan was first exposed to the Native American Flute while living in Arizona and working on his master's in music composition. His music has since evolved into an eclectic mix of Native American Flute, jazz, and new age. 　　 　　Dan has also enjoyed teaching yoga in the Dallas metroplex since 1995. He originally studied yoga with Valerie King and has continued to expand his studies with Yogi Amrit Desai. Dan bought his first flute after returning to Texas and, while perfecting his playing, began to create relaxing music for use in his yoga classes. He utilizes his Masters' degree in music composition from Arizona State University to create the relaxing music he plays in his classes. Dan often plays the gong or the Native American flute to enhance class meditation.
