A musician from age nine, he vowed to never let a day of his life go by without playing an instrument: a commitment he still keeps to this day. He supported himself in college as a drummer and later became a keyboardist in a New York City rock band, playing such clubs as CBGB’s. 　　 　　In 1990, he walked across the country with a group of people inspired to bring awareness to environmental issues; he carried his guitar along the way and performed from Santa Monica pier to the base of the Statue of Liberty. Eventually settling in California, he became a husband, parent and psychotherapist while releasing three albums as a singer-songwriter. 　　 　　David’s music comes from the heart and from a deep desire to communicate. He believes that music is about play, healing and ultimately, connection.
