About E+B: Edison + Belle is an Indie Pop duo from New York City with lead singer and songwriter Richie Leone and lead guitarist and songwriter Joseph Lewczak. The band, and this EP, was borne when the two met in New York City in late 2014. The pair immediately clicked and found that they inspired each other when collaborating, leading to the collection of songs on Love Beyond. 　　 　　The band's songs and style are more than just an exploration of relationships, love and life. They are an expression of the clash among culture, style, life and lifestyle that is occurring all around us – gay and straight, club kid and corporate executive, violence and peace, couture and thrift store. Joseph and Richie’s unique backgrounds and perspectives all come through in the songwriting and, along with producer Peter Savad, the recording. The pair’s stylistic clashes have forced them to create music that is reflective of almost everyone’s lives and likes. 　　 　　The music is undeniably eclectic and unapologetically hook driven, drawing influence from pop, dance, rock, and alternative genres, but with the focus always on the songwriting. That songwriting, however, would be nothing without the production, and the band found a mystical shaman in Peter, who was able to hear the music in a way neither Richie nor Joseph could have ever dreamed, and expertly extract every ounce of dance club, dive bar and sports stadium that lived within. 　　 　　From Richie: When giving thanks, it would be wrong if I didn't start with my main men, Joseph and Peter (aka "peetaaah"). Creating with you guys has been a truly special experience. You know how to take the crazy stuff going on in my head, combine all of our different styles, and translate it into something that I'm so proud of. You both are so talented and so special to me. Obviously, I have to thank my parents for just loving me and accepting the person I am becoming. I have changed so much since moving back to New York City and you both have embraced this whole process and believe in me and my work. 　　 　　From Joseph: For me, this was a project over 40 years in the making. Having written and recorded music in fits and starts for the better part of my life, Love Beyond represents a turning point in my musical journey where I learned to become comfortable with who I am as a songwriter, musician and person. Of course, none of that was possible without Richie and Peter, who were able to bring out the best parts of each of those components. Thanks also to Anne for her love, drama and inspiration – no part of this would have been possible without you. Also thanks to my parents for being understanding with the changes that I have undergone in my life in the past year, and still tolerating me. Thanks to all of my supportive colleagues at Davis & Gilbert. Being an attorney is tough enough. Being an attorney and a musician is near impossible, I am thankful to work in a place that respects and encourages what I do in my “down” time. Finally, thanks to New York City.
