The Open Goldberg Variations by pianist Kimiko Ishizaka, recorded in the Teldex Studio, Berlin, on a Boesendorfer 290 Imperial, is the result of a fan-funded project to create a public domain, copyright free edition. 　　 　　Reviews 　　 　　Ishizaka's interpretation is characterised by straightforward musicianship, immaculate technical aplomb, and a warm, beautifully modulated sonority.
