简介: The Questions is a musical tree house in which Detroit poet/activist Drew Bardo randomly invites his close friends and family into to produce weird art & strange noises. This merry-go-round of bohemian pranksters has stretched across many landscapes and dedicated the direction of the journey to" the journey itself". Their music is unpredictable, raw, thought provoking and deceptively involved. The Questions specialize in a "no boundaries" approach to their blue-collar rock 'n' roll. The music has been labeled by the press as "Grunge", "Political Punk", "Garage", and "Americana". Well known for their political activism, humanitarian efforts, and contributions to several charities in Detroit and the Midwest, Drew and friends have risen above the self absorbed and dedicated themselves to organizing the community for a wide variety of causes, giving a voice to those who have none, and raising a lot of money and resources for a diverse array of important social causes since the bands inception. Their live shows capture an organic intensity and are a primordial assault on the senses. With a strong background in performance poetry and deep literary roots, Bardo brings a certain intellect to the greasy impulses of modern rock by instigating notions of a bigger purpose. They have toured a handful of times and have performed/collaborated with a wide range of well known artists in premier clubs around the United States such as The Lit Lounge (NYC), One Eyed Jacks (New Orleans), Asbury Lanes (NJ), The Magic Stick (Detroit), and MANY others. Drew and the gang are currently back in the studio flushing out the early drafts of the new album--- slated for release over the course of the next 6 months... STAY TUNED!
