As a child at age seven, I (Early Clover) knew that I wanted to be a singer/entertainer/musician. Beginning my journey in church, fuled me to expand my interest in music. Which took me into areas of different types of music. I began my professional career at age 14, winning awards for my school, and then became the back up band for Rufus Thomas, Joe Simon, William Bell, Carla Thomas, Nancy Butts, Jay Hines, etc and opening for such acts as Betty Wright, Full Force, and Tyrone Davis. I was a seven time winner at the world famous Apollo Theater in New York City, and an Apollo favorite during the year of 1989. Sang lead for the world famous Cornell Gunter Coasters for many years to present. I mentor and do motivation speeches for the Westcare Foundation at different facitities across the country. I presently entertain around the country at different venues as a solo artist, the lead singer of the Cornell Gunter Coasters, Early Clover and the Soul Drifters, and The Majic Touch. I also have a book titled, "From Sawdust To Stardust". Stay tuned for more music from Early Clover.
