简介:  12-year-old Rapper, Junglist, Yard Deejay, Dub Producer, Bass Player & Binghi Melodica Player Deedar Zaman.   At the age of 5 he was breakdancing and listening to Bob Marley. Celebrating his 26th year in the music industry.   He released various acclaimed albums through... Nation, London Records, EMI, Labels and Virgin.      He has a great reputation for his live shows and has supported bands on tour such as Rage Against The Machine and The Beastie Boys, playing in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canary Islands and Japan.      Deedar left his old band at the end of 2000 to start work on his own projects, setting up his own label, Anchor. Working closely with Trevor Boucaud @ Crusial & African Head Charge, Dennis Rootical @ Iration Steppers, Devon White, Adrian Sherwood, Harry Beckett, Skip McDonald & The Crispy Horns @ the ON-U Sound stables. Drums & Percussion played by Style Scott from Dub Syndicate and drums played by Horseman from the Prince Fatty stables. Writing with Sugar Hill Gang, Poet and Writer Benjamin Zephaniah, Dubdem Soundsystem, Yuka from O'Rappa & Maga Bo in Brasil on tour for Indigenous Activist Galdino. Been produced by Brendan Lynch of Lynch Mob Productions who works alongside artists such as Paul Weller, The British Ukulele Orchestra, Writer Elvin Welsh, Writer Suraav Dutt, Andrew Kershaw BBC 1 Live Radio Session, Later with Jools Holland alongside Herbie Hancock, The Jo Wiley Show, Cannes Film Festival, (ChannelPlus TV,) He has remixed Sivanandan from Institute of Race Relations. (I.R.R.) and Assata of the Black Panthers (Aunty of 2 Pac), An Educational Anti-Racist CD-ROM for Campaign Against Racism and Fascism. (CARF.) Touring with Primal Scream from the UK and also touring with DreadZone alongside Earl Sixteen.. He was watched at gigs by David Bowie and Gabriel. Also writing with Nyabinghi yout & Drummaker Meekman and dubbing artists such as Chronixx, Jah 9, Addis Pablo (son of Legendary Augustus Pablo). Dropping hits such as Baby I Love You So in 2006 dubbed by Adrian Sherwood, Tuff Like Iron in 2014.      In 2002 Deedar worked with various Human Rights Organisations. The National Civil Rights Movement (NCRM), Campaign Against Racism & Fascism (CARF), Miscarriages of Justice Organisation (MOJO) the Mens Payday Organisation at the Womens Crossroads Centre. He was hailed as being the Best Youth in Britain in 2008 by Mark Thomas in the activist Journal New Statesman. Mark Thomas is an Investigative Journalist and Comedian who is part of Channel 4's entertainment group Vera that is run by Bremner, Bird & Fourtune.
