简介: Hello and welcome, I've been singing since I can remember. When I was 10 living in Forks, WA, my mom (song writer) and I went to the local library. She checked out some mystery novels and I checked out 2 albums, the first was Patsy Cline and the second was Linda Rondstadt. I played and sang along to both using my Fisher Price record player. Remember those? This album, "Blue Country" was a project that my mom (Sandy) and I worked on together while singing in a local band called, "The Evening Shades" on the weekends. The song, "WE ARE AMERICA", was written right after the 9/11 attacks and is a tribute to those who lost their loved ones and a reminder to the rest of the country to stay strong. "THE GREATEST MOMENT", could be about anyone that is close to your heart. For me, when I hear it I think of God. To different people it has different meanings, but that's the beauty of music isn't it? All the songs sound differ from one another; "HELL FIRE & DAMNATION" has kind of a modern country/Christian rock sound. "WHEN THE BLUES DROP BY", is what the title suggests.... A blues tune. "ADDICTIONS", sounds like a Cheryl Crowe tune (to me anyway) at times. The song, "CHOCOLATE" was a silly song to me when I recorded it, but I've had at least 10 people tell me that that's their favorite song. It talks about a woman telling her spouse/boy friend to bring her chocolates instead of flowers after an argument. To all that have purchased the album, "I thank you", and for those who have been asking me when the next one is coming, I hope to have it finished by Christmas of this year (2013). It will sound a lot bluesier than this one with a little bit of country, since I am a big Susan Tedeschi and Jonny Lang fan. Thanks for reading and keep listening, Annie :)
