Hey folks, thanks for the ear! My music has changed through the years, all for the good! As a kid I was raised good ole country; Merle and Johnny, you know, dads album stack. Daddy had always played the guitar and at 8 years old wanting to learn really bad, he showed me a few chords and the rest is history as for as my favorite instrument. I made it a point to learn and play every lick Jim Croce ever plucked. The bass came natural and the piano just allowed me to venture off into different compositions and styles. Personaly, I know it was bands like America, Bread, and needless to say McCartney and his buds. 　　 Yep, I do anticipate a band but until I find a few guys with the same love for the soft rock genre, Im pretty much glued to this 24 track Mackie doing the instruments and vocals myself. My daughter Tiffany inspired many of the Croce finger-pickin style tunes I'd written, while my wife Constance, is forever drawing the orchestrial "silly love songs" out of me.I truly hope these few tunes will be a breath of fresh air, maybe taking you back to the crazy and memorable "old days". I know by being one, we writers get asked now and then where the lyrics come from. All I could ever tell them was, when you've lived the songs the words pretty much fall off the pen.
