I have been called a coloratura soprano and a lyrical soprano, and although I have a high range, I sing more in the mid range for the ear to enjoy and entice. My love of my music started at a very early age. My grandmother plays six instruments by ear and can sing a harmony to any song you might bring. We started singing together when I was 2 and have never stopped since. I come from a mixed culture. I am Mexican with and ancestry of French, Sicilian, Basque with a touch of Middle Eastern. 　　 　　I studied to be a concert pianist for many years. This musical foundation has helped me immensely in my singing. Having lived with music being such a big part of my life made the transition to singing easier. I still feel my music intensely but now use my voice as my instrument. 　　 　　I have been blessed to have experienced many cultures and lived in different countries and I think I have brought this to my music. I sing in French, Spanish, English and Italian. I sing Argentinean Tangos, French love ballads, English Oldies and Italian love songs. 　　 　　My public performances include performing for the Consul of Peru, for the Consul of Mexico, including many of their international social functions. I recorded for Disney on Ice in Spanish and have had air time in Mexico, in Europe and here in San Diego. 　　 　　I hope you enjoy my music. 　　 　　Angelica
