简介: Andy grew up listening to his parents early 70's Randy Newman and Elton John records which inspired him to play the piano. He learned to play piano from an old blind teacher, who in his youth had played the pump organ for silent movies and dodged peanuts thrown by the children. His Grandfather played the ukele and guitar in the hallowed working men's clubs of the fifties. Andy has lived all over the world, but currently resides in Scotland...
He has worked as a professional piano player in the UK for the past few years, steadily crafting a trade, and developing skills and song ideas. It was while grafting at this career that the songs on this album began to take shape. The album was recorded in Glasgow, and is totally independant of major labels, self funded and co-produced.
His debut album, 'Weekend Millionaire' is the first in hopefully a stream of albums, of which the songs are already written. It explores many ideas and scenarios in life, through other peoples eyes, and occasionally his own.
