When someone says "Scootch your little tushie out of the Cadillac of my life" you expect that person to have a lot of hard edged messages. But Steve Reid has a greater range, from hard to loving and even religious. With inspirations such as James Taylor, Bob Dylan and Jim Croce, Steve has been playing guitar and keyboards and writing songs for a heckuva long time. He's developed his own style of acoustic guitar playing but doesn't mind banging on the keys to drive a song home. He's made a bunch of music-playing and singing friends along the way, and many of them are featured on his recordings.
