简介:  Divertimento   for Clarinet, Trumpet, Vibraphone, and Trombone   Recorded 1983 in London   This five-movement piece written in 1978, in London, based on themes from the opera “Rostam and Sohrab”. It was recorded in 1983 by the soloists of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The US premiere was given by soloists (music faculty members) from the University of Evansville, in 1987.      Woodwind Quintet   for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, and Bassoon   Recorded 1974 in London   Tjeknavorian’s Woodwind Quintet was based on the composer’s Violin Concerto (1956), composed during his student years at the Vienna Music Academy. It was recorded by the soloists from the London Symphony Orchestra, in 1974.      Dance Suite (Septet)   For flute, clarinet, Horn, two percussion, violin and double Bass   Recorded in 1983 in London   The "Dance Suite" is comprised of nine movements based on Dance Drama "Simorgh" composed for the Iranian Instrumental Ensemble. The suite was written in 1979, in London. It was recorded by soloists from the London Philharmonic Orchestra, in 1983. The first public performance was given by   soloists (music faculty members) from the University of Evansville, in 1987.
