Celebrated violist Paul Neubauer is showcased on a new special release from the Music@Menlo LIVE label, entitled Paul Neubauer LIVE. Featured on the recording is a collection of the acclaimed violist's performances from the Music@Menlo chamber music festival, including Schubert's "Arpeggione" Sonata for Viola and Piano in a minor, D. 821; Brahms' Sonata for Viola and Piano in E-flat Major, op. 120, no. 2 and his Zwei Gesänge for Voice, Viola, and Piano, op. 91; Schulenburg's Puszta-Märchen; Valdez's Serenade du Tzigane; and The Canary, which was written anonymously. Artists featured in collaboration with Neubauer are pianists Gilbert Kalish, Juho Pohjonen, and Wu Han; and mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke. Paul Neubauer LIVEwas recorded and remastered by the Grammy award-winning sound engineer Da-Hong Seetoo.
