简介: OK....So.. here it is my solo album Fabulous Bakerboy. Ive had a ball making it and working with Anthony Galatis at Uptown Studios London has been amazing so thank you Anthony. There are too many beautiful songs in the world and so many incredible writers it was tough choosing the material but I hope you enjoy the selections I've made. 'He Used To Be Mine' is an adaptation of a song from the Sara Bareilles musical 'Waitress'. The song struck a personal chord with me and so I changed some early lyrics to relate to a man. If you ever hear it Miss Bareilles I hope you like it. Five of the songs come from my One man show 'Baker's Dozen that I had the pleasure of performing in April and May of 2016 in London and New York and feature the five piece orchestrations and arrangements that were written for me. Thank You Alex Parker and Stuart Piper for making it happen. 'Englishman In New York Sting's brilliant tribute to Quentin Crisp and Ode To Attention Seekers was the opening song of 'Taboo' which is my tribute to Philip Sallon who had the pleasure of playing. Both Trail blazers in individuality and style and I thought made a great coupling. 'Stranger In This World', 'Being Good Isn't Good Enough' (thank you Jonnny Barr) 'Old Friend' (Thank You Frankie Ruff) 'Who Can I Turn To'
