Nomad is an energetic, female-led rock band from Oakland, CA. Influenced by a variety of genres and bands, the band humorously uses the term, “proto-prog-post-punk” to define their current sound. Fast-paced drumming is coupled with female vocals, solid bass lines, crunchy guitars and at times, keyboard driven melodies. Nomad released their self-titled, debut album in 2013. Their latest release Sublayer, out on March 28th, reflects a more guitar-driven direction.
