简介: The Bio
BAC /bæk/ someone or something that has come into usefulness or popularity again.
BAC is a multi-cultural, diversely talented group of young men whose music reflects the values of integrity and moral principle.
In December of 1995, Paul "Z" and KenDog Sez began writing rhymes in a college dorm room and performing them into a hand-held tape recorder. It had been less than a year since these young men's lives experienced dramatic spiritual change, but the gift of writing rhymes infected with hope had already been bestowed upon them.
After six years of rhyming anywhere and everywhere there was a mic, Paul "Z" and KenDog Sez met the final element of BAC, Mo' Si'r-e-us, an extremely talented DJ with a likeminded vision to give people a positive hip hop alternative.
BAC was finally complete and ready for its true genesis.
The Emcees
The group's front man, Paul "Z", has an undisputed mic and stage presence that can't be denied. Those who enter his lyrical domain find that it's a place they've been searching for a long time. There is no one more effective at spreading hope to those who feel hopeless, than Paul "Z".
KenDog Sez is the Caucasian element of the group with strong urban ties. His lyrical content is profoundly soul-stirring, prodding the abyssal depths of the listener's heart. KenDog Sez knows what young people go through on a daily basis and has honed his mic skill to relate to them in a comprehendible way. He isn't afraid to flow on the subjects that many try to avoid.
The DJ
Mo' Si'r-e-us is the driving force behind the turntables. The beats are hittin' and the mixes tight, providing the musical inhalation that gives life to all of BAC's songs. Mo' understands just how much music moves people, and he uses it to move them in a direction where they can be impacted by the group's message.
The Projects
-Clan of Another Man (2000)
The group’s freshman project, produced by Jack Marques of Mars Hill. Soulful and melodic hip hop featuring the sounds and styles of the very diverse, yet equally talented members of BAC. Memorable hits from the album include, Friday, and I Think I Need a Savior.
-Global Position (2003)
The group's breakout album, that keeps the speakers bangin' and the soul stirring. It's a ride that takes listeners from troubling times that affect everybody, to a place where celebrating life is on the daily. Hits include, Bounce, Hero, Broken Families, and Your Love.
-BAC has been on hiatus for the past year and a half, but since early 2008, Kendog Sez and Mo' Si'r-e-us have been back in the studio producing an album for an unbelievably talented up-and-comer, Da Chosen Poet. It can be expected that the upcoming album will be HOT HOT HOT, blending BAC's signature flows with a raw, unfiltered sound birthed from the war that rages within the heart of everyone.
