"Borders, either made of bricks and cement or just symbolic are sometimes battlefields but they are also creative labs of the art of living together. " 　　 　　Zygmunt Bauman, Polish philosopher and sociologist. 　　 　　Mankind has always had the need to demarcate its territory, to feel safe in a non-infinite hence controllable space. 　　Through an immaterial curve that is the "border", mankind has found a way to trace neatly and visually territories, populations and therefore different cultures. 　　 　　The new project "Boundary Line" starts from this premise, then turn it completely, where the border is no longer a dividing line, but rather a meeting point where it is possible to have communication between different cultures in a neutral territory. 　　 　　In "Boundery Line" the border is the perfect place to merge the stimuli coming from everywhere without a filter, making them their own, internalizing and reviving them through a new life while respecting their origins and every time filling their particular world, which remains essentially familiar. 　　 　　"Art is not to represent something new but to represent the same thing with originality" - Ugo Foscolo 　　 　　▓ █ - ITA 　　 　　“Le frontiere, materiali o mentali, di calce e mattoni o simboliche, sono a volte dei campi di battaglia, ma sono anche dei laboratori creativi dell'arte del vivere insieme, dei terreni in cui vengono gettati e germogliano (consapevolmente o meno) i semi di forme future di umanità.” 　　Zygmunt Bauman ,sociologo e filosofo polacco di origini ebraiche. 　　 　　L’ uomo da sempre ha avuto la necessità di delimitare il proprio territorio, per sentirsi al sicuro in uno spazio non più infinito quindi controllabile. 　　Attraverso quella curva immateriale che è il “confine” egli ha trovato il modo di tracciare nettamente e visibilmente territori, popolazioni e quindi culture differenti. 　　Il nuovo progetto “Boundary Line” parte proprio da questo presupposto per poi ribaltarlo completamente, dove il confine non è più una linea di demarcazione, piuttosto un punto di incontro in cui è possibile la comunicazione tra culture diverse in un territorio neutro. 　　In “Boundary Line” il confine è il perfetto luogo in cui fondere gli stimoli che provengono da ogni dove, senza filtro, farli propri, interiorizzarli e farli rinascere attraverso nuova vita rispettandone l’ origine e riempiendoli ogni volta del loro specifico mondo che resta essenzialmente familiare. 　　“L'arte non consiste nel rappresentare cose nuove, bensì nel rappresentare con novità.” 　　Ugo Foscolo
