This is the debut album from a Providence, RI-based pop/rock band called holiday. The band formed at the University of Rhode Island in 2000 and went on to perform regionally for 5 or so years with great success. This was their only album, though the band released several EPs: The Dino EP, Rep Demos, and Most Recent Demonstrations to name a few. After several lineup changes holiday. became Neo Nouveau and explored more mature themes on the Indie-rock pallette until disbanding in 2009. Friends and fans still hold Words that Rhyme above and beyond the later Neo Nouveau efforts in terms of sheer youthful bliss, timeless hooks, and raw performances. Enjoy!
