On July 11th, 2005, Flint, MI. natives "Playmakaz" released their self-titled debut album. The album has been well received by fans of mainstream as well as underground artists. "Playmakaz," a self-produced project compiled of original material, was an 11-month tedious process of creating and selecting the best songs possible. 　　 Formed through the suggestion of mutual friends, "Playmakaz" is comprised of D-Raz (David Rasak) and MC/Producer TMD (Todd Dale). While gaining momentum and a devout following in the area, "Playmakaz" have opened for nationwide acts such as Too-short, Obie Trice, Fabolous and others. Combining a unique sound that implements hip-hop, R&B, and pop influences makes "Playmakaz" an original act that stretches past normal musical genres.
