Niño's debut album "Rooms and Stories" is full of personal experiences and landscapes of emotions, transformed into fictional stories. The songs were recorded in many different locations, so that the room, where the music spreads becomes an additional instrument and story-teller. 　　Together with the sound artists Orhan Gül, Philipp Ernst and Steven Parry, Niño looked for suitable locations such as a little bathroom, a radio studio or a huge basement garage, to record his first CD. In January 2006 the recording sessions were realized with the help of a small, mobile car studio. The room acoustics were captured carefully, so that every reverb and room effect is real and gives each song it's unique character.
