I have a very deep background of music which is very personal to me. I've been composing electronically with music sequencers and have wanted to write it all. My real love for writing comes from orchestral music, piano, swelling strings and beautiful layers of harmony. I have some experience as a pianist and played in college bands but it was never quite like writing my own music and having the full control of so many sounds and choices that make it so thrilling to do each time. My music is always a deep experience where I become enthralled with an idea. Strings of Time is all about that and each song is a rich experience that has come from emotional points of my life. 　　 　　I almost gave up on the album until sadly my Nan passed away (Julia Anne Stewart) which really made me inspired to finish it as I know she would have loved it. The first track "A Memory Never Forgotten" often reminds me of her as well as important people in my life that have got me where I am today. This whole album is about reflection I suppose as whilst you enjoy the melodies and the different blends of instruments you also think a lot about parts of your life and let it take you to other places. That's the real joy of music for me and its power has no equal. 　　 　　I hope you enjoy this album, I look forward to making another one!
