Hardcore Scm - 2014 　　 　　Another fun year making tinkles and nosies. 　　Continued with the starting one track a week for the year but took a lot longer with each track from the first idea and let the ideas bubble around in my head. 　　Made a few more house and trance tracks than I have for a while - always fun doing different things. First chip tune too, loved me some chip music on my old Atari ST so was fun to make a track using some of my favourite instrument types from that era. 　　 　　Track Listing by Genre: 　　 　　House 　　 　　Varzea 　　A bit of a jazzy, funky house track. The bass rolls along with some brass and woodwinds and keys playing along. 　　 　　The Trail 　　A bouncy, uplifting house track. Starts abit tribal-y with percussion and synths then a 4/4 kick comes in half way through. 　　 　　Subatomic 　　A darker instrumental house track, throbbing bass bits and tinkly synth bits and percussiony bits. 　　 　　Skipper 　　A light and breezey house track with some tribaly percussion and tinkly synths. 　　 　　House Safari 　　A gently pulsing house track, bumbles along with a prominant kick and bass and percussion and light synths playing around above. 　　 　　 　　Trance 　　 　　Serenity 　　A mostly percussive trance track, with light bass and synth sweeps and gatey fx. 　　 　　Sahara 　　An uplifting trance track, swirling melodies and offstep bass against drums. 　　 　　Planet Fall 　　Builds a melody over kicks and bass and pads and percussion. 　　 　　Moon Dance 　　soothing melodies and pads over a kick drum. liked the feel of the synths and bass and the rhythms they made so didn't add any other percussion just the kick. 　　 　　Drift Velocity 　　An old school trance track, slowly building. 　　 　　Dreamland 　　Driving bass and percussion and a light plonky melody. 　　 　　Cosmic 　　Drums and a grooving bass line with a melody on a few synths. 　　 　　Alexander's Band 　　A light and happy trance track with plonky hammer-y main synth and offstep bass. 　　 　　Arcing 　　A deep and throbbing trance track with a throbbing bass and percussive patterns playing against a light synth melody. 　　 　　 　　Drum and Bass / Breaks 　　 　　Elara 　　A light and jazzy dnb track, tinkly improvised melodies over drums and bass. 　　 　　Callisto 　　Light blippy melodies and sweeping pads angainst steppers drums/ 　　 　　Canyon 　　Trance melodies and pads and synths swirling around over drums and bass. 　　 　　 　　Techno 　　 　　Electron Wake 　　A throbbing techno track. percussion and a distorted sweepy bassey noise against fx and light melodies. 　　 　　Ground Wave 　　A deep and bassy track. a bit industrial. 　　 　　 　　Chip Tune 　　 　　Capacitor 　　A chirpy bleepy little chiptune track with a few different melodic styles against drums. 　　 　　 　　Downbeat / Dubstep / Trip Hop 　　 　　The Bleeper 　　A hypnotic kick drum pattern kicks along with percussion and synths playing around along with it. 　　 　　Serendipity 　　Slow and chilled. a gentle melody builds on an electric piano and oboe with synths against drums and bass. 　　 　　Sculpt 　　Builds a funky little bass line against a drum beat. 　　 　　Lightning Bugs 　　Light dancing melodies and bouncy bass. 　　 　　Leaping Llamas 　　A glidey, growly melody builds over drums and bass. 　　 　　Dandelion 　　Percussion and drums against fx and pads and bobbling rolling synth lines. 　　 　　Frogs 　　A squelchy jumpy trip hop track - goes through a few moods trying out different things with basses and drums and percussion. 　　Made me think of frogs hopping along. 　　 　　Pipistrelle 　　An fx-y track with bleeps and bloops and swooshes and and nice echoing patterns on the drums. 　　 　　Ambient 　　 　　DreamDance 35 　　Machine noises and fx, against slow dark melodies. moody and soothing. 　　 　　Equilibrium 　　A cello plays a haunting melody against sweepy pads. 　　 　　Sparks 　　Light ambienty melodies and tinkly synths over growling bass and slow drums. 　　 　　 　　Classical 　　 　　Morar 　　A gentle piece for flutes and strings. 　　 　　The Duck Pond 　　A piece for piano and light orchestra. 　　 　　 　　Trancore 　　 　　Siding Spring 　　An evolving hardcore trance track with echoinh melodies and sweeping pads. 　　 　　 　　Hardstyle 　　 　　Arctic Fox 　　A melodic hardstyle track with big buzzy kick and trancey tunes. 　　 　　Fireball 　　A nice catchy melody against big kick. 　　 　　 　　Happy Hardcore 　　 　　Vortex 　　Synths and kicks and bass and percs all messed up together. Builds up to a trancey main melody. 　　 　　Night Flight 　　A bouncy hardcore track, a bit nrg. kick and offstep bass play against each other with synth melody on various synths over the top. 　　 　　Nightfall 　　A darker trancey hardcore track. 　　 　　Cashmere 　　a mix of trance and acid-y melodies and synths against off-step bass and thumping kick. 　　 　　Mutagen 　　a trancey hardcore track, piano led melodies with synth over drums and bass. 　　 　　 　　Hardcore Techno / Gabber 　　 　　Terrors 　　A moodier hardcore track. Buzzing kick and synths and percussion. 　　 　　Star Fall 　　A Kick bangs along with a melodies swapping around synths over the top. 　　 　　Shadows 　　A fast and hard gabber track. 　　 　　Battleground 　　Starts fx-y and droney then builds to a nice hard synth melody that plays well with the distorted kick. 　　 　　Beacon 　　A nice buzzing kick against fx and synths, a bit dark and moody. 　　 　　Dark Matter 　　A deep dark throbbing hardcore track. 　　 　　Klipspringer 　　Some melodic hardcore techno / gabber with a couple of synths mess around over a big kick and percussion.
